The Secretary Forum 2018-19 of Rotary International District 3281, Bangladesh on Monday distributed raincoats among the rickshaw pullers in the city’s Karwan Bazar area.
About two hundred rickshaw pullers received the raincoats.
District Governor of the organisation AFM Alamgir inaugurated the distributing ceremony.
Rotarians Shah Alam Chowdhury, Ismail Hossain Siraji, Barrister Tasnim Rakib, AK Azad, Sohel Majumder, Kamruzzaman, Barek, Mahbub Alam and Abu Rayhan Sarker, among others were present during the distribution programme.
The organisers said that they would distribute more raincoats among the rickshaw pullers in different areas of the capital in future.
