Once popular face of TV screen Rosy Siddiqui has returned to acting by performing in Noresh Bhuiyan’s directed a drama serial.
She is now acting in an important role in Noresh Bhuiyan’s directed a serial titled Regey Gelen To Herey Gelen under the story written by Shilpi Sarkar Apu.
While talking about to return in acting Rosy told this correspondent, “Story of the serial was really nice. I was engaged with my daughter’s examinations previous times. Though many directors tried to convince me to act in their plays but I couldn’t give them time only for my daughter. Now she has finished her exams. For this reason, I have returned to acting again. Right now I have planned to be regular in TV plays because I think it is the right time to work. After Eid-ul-Fitr, my acted this new serial will go on air in any satellite channel.”
On the other hand, Rosy Siddiqui’s solo-performed theatre play Poncho-Nari Akkhyan was staged for 25th time at Shilpakala Academy recently. It was directed by Rosy’s husband, Shahiduzzaman Selim and its story was written by Harunur Rashid.
Meanwhile, the veteran actress also has a big screen project to her name in noted Indian director Gautam Ghose’s Shonkhochil. She shot for the film recently, standing in front of Ghose’s camera after 22 years, when she debuted in film with Padma Nodir Majhi (1993).
