A student of a primary school, who was injured in roof collapse, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dhaka, where he was killed at one stage.
The deceased was identified as Shahed, class five student of Lokhartek Government Primary School in Sadarpur upazila.

Deceased’s uncle Shapon confirmed his death.
Earlier on Saturday, at least three students, including Shahed, were injured as roof collapsed on them when they were playing under the roof of an abandoned building in Lokhartek area in the upazila.
Of them, Shahed and Uzzal were admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
Later, he was shifted to National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital in Dhaka from where he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Later, he was again shifted to Islami Bank Medical College where he died around 8:30am, he added.
Contacted, Sadarpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Purobi Goldar said the building was declared abandoned long ago.
