Daughter of noted lyricist Jamal Hossain, Rongon started her acting career with film Monpura famed popular actress Farhana Mili. Rongon acted in Jamal Hossain written and Yamin Allen directed play titled Otithi. Rongon is very much excited to debut her acting career with Farhana Mili.
Mili informed that Rongon acted with excitement and enthusiasm during shooting. Shooting of the play is going on at different locations in the capital’s Uttara area.
While talking about acting in the play Farhana Mili told this correspondent, “Earlier I heard the name of lyricist Jamal Bhai. He writes story very nice which I realised while acting in this play. It was an exceptional story based play. I have tried to portray my role properly. Yamin Allen worked in organised way. It was Rongon’s first work on the screen. She has tried her best to acting.”
Rongon shared her feelings by this way, “Basically Abbu’s inspiration I acted in this play. It was my first acting, so I was feared at first. But everybody including Mili Apu co-operated me well.”
Mili also informed that she yesterday took part in shooting of Nazrul Islam Raju’s ongoing serial Ghumonto Shohorey. From November she will start shooting of Guddu Bura-Season-2 for Duronto TV. She is also acting in Banglavision’s ongoing serial titled Chaeting Master. She last performed as model in a TVC under Joyonto Rozario’s direction, she added.
