Minister for Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar said that post office has now become a reliable institution for conducting digital commerce.
“Post office has now become a reliable institution for digital commerce.
Under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, we are creating a road map for post office digitization to establish a postal system suitable for the digital era. It will be implemented soon,” he said.
The minister said these while visiting city’s General Post Office (GPO) on the eighth instant, a press release said.
Meanwhile, Jabbar also spoke to the customers of GPO and sought their
feedback. During the visit, the minister visited various branches of GPO.
