Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque said the late Attorney General Mahbubey Alam had many rare qualities.
“He never got angry with anyone. He was honest and protective. He had a hundred percent commitment to work,” he said.
He said this while speaking at a remembrance meeting organised on Wednesday by the Law Reporters Forum at the Supreme Court Bar Association auditorium in the city.
He urged all lawyers to follow his ideology in their professional and personal life.
Chief Justice of Bangladesh Syed Mahmud Hossain also spoke at the meeting.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, State Mnister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali, Justice (Retd.) AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik, Justice Obaidul Hasan, Justice M Enayetur Rahim, Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim, President of Supreme Court Bar Association AM Amin Uddin and General Secretary Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal and Additional Attorney General Murad Reza also discussed the colorful career of Alam at the meeting.
Law Reporters Forum President Mashhudul Haque presided over the meeting.
