Begum Rokeya University Teachers’ Association on Wednesday declared their Vice Chancellor Dr AKM Nur-un-Nabi ‘persona non-grata’ on the campus for his alleged irregularities in promotion of teachers and autocratic behavoiur.
Association leaders said this at a press conference at Rangpur Press Club around 8:30pm.
Association president Dr Saidul Haque and general secretary Dr Parimal Chandra were present at the press conference.
Earlier on November 9, 10 teachers of the resigned from 19 posts they had been holding after their demand for promotion went unheeded.
