Even two years ago, National Film Award winner actress Rokeya Prachy was engaged with making TV plays. But for the last two years she was so engaged with politics that she couldn’t manage time to give direction. She is now making a TV serial titled Sonali Din to telecast on Banglavision.
Directed by Rokeya Prachi its story was written by Matia Banu Shuku. Now it’s shooting is being held in Dhaka’s different spots like Gulshan, Uttara and Pubail’s Ulukhola. Earlier she made documentary on Language Movement 52 er Michhil and others.
Rokeya Prachy said, “I want to contest in coming National Parliament election in a constitutency of Feni under the banner of Awami League. I believe Sheikh Hasina will give me nomination for that post. Therefore, I am making a new serial for Banglavision which will entertain the viewers after going on air.”
Rokeya Prachi directed mentionable works are Selai Poribar, Apon Khobor, etc.
