Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Friday said that Bangladesh will provide Rohingyas, who are already here, with assistance out of humanitarian grounds.
But, he also claimed that the government will take measures to send back the Rohingyas later on.
Kamal was addressing a programme in the capital where he also said that
Bangladesh will urge Myanmar to take back the Rohingya staying in the country. He, nonetheless, said that Bangladesh is not considering sending the stranded Rohingya because of the ongoing persecution on them at home.
He also said that the crisis will be resolved peacefully and that the border forces of the 2 neighbouring nations held meeting in this regard.
