The government has taken a plan to shift the Rohingya refugees to another suitable places from the existing camps at Khutupalang and Nayapara in Cox’s Bazaar.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in a meeting with the officials of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief at Bangladesh Secretariat here on Thursday.

The Prime Minister said the Rohingya refugees would be shifted to a wide area as they are living in a very inhumane condition in those slums.
The refugee camp areas, near to Cox’s Bazar sea beach, would be utilized for development of tourism, she said.
