Rohingya man among 2 found dead in Teknaf

Police recovered the bodies of two persons, including a Rohingya refugee from Myanmar, at Hnila union under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Shamsul Huda, 27, an alleged top listed drug peddler, and Rahim Ullah, 30, a Rohingya refugee who used to reside at Block-B of Leda camp in Teknaf, our Cox’s Bazar Correspondent reports quoting Ranjit Kumar Barua, Officer-in-Charge

(OC) of Teknaf Police Station. On information, a team from Leda Police Outpost recovered the bodies after woodcutters spotted the bodies floating in a pond around 11:30am the OC said.
Shamsul Huda was accused in six cases, with Teknaf Police Station, including murder, narcotics and arms, according to police.
Meanwhile, Rahim Ullah along with his cousin Rashid Ullah went missing 15 days ago. Police recovered the body of Rashid Ullah from Naf River last week, the OC added
