Varendra University (VU), the first private university in Rajshahi region, organized a Robot Show recently.
Students of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department displayed four types of Robots at the exhibition. The organizer sources said their first robot “Raidah: The Intelligent Follower” will be able to perform various risky tasks at the offices, hospitals and super malls. The second robot “Acumen-VU-S1? can work simultaneously as altimeter, light sensor and resistance.
Besides, they displayed another two robots namely ‘Mobile Control’ and ‘Insect’. University adviser Prof Dr M Saidur Rahman Khan, Vice Chancellor Dr M Osman Ghani Talukder and Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Nurul Hossain inaugurated the exhibition.
