Mobile network operator Robi has formed a partnership with on-demand ride-sharing company Uber to bring innovative digital services for customers.
Robi Chief Corporate and People Officer Matiul Islam Nowshad and Uber Chief Business Officer of India and Emerging Markets Madhu Kannan exchanged the partnership documents at a ceremony held at Robi Corporate Office on Sunday, said a press release.
The partnership will bring special exclusive discounts to Robi and Airtel subscribers for using Uber. The partnership has also paved the way for Uber and Robi to work together to offer co-branded products and work out a digital service roadmap that facilitates the addition of new benefits for the customers and partners, going forward.
This partnership also allows the prospective driver-partners to complete their registration with Uber in the Robi Walk-In-Centres (WICs) with utmost convenience. The Uber driver partners will also enjoy specialized SIM cards and data packs from Robi.
