With robust expansion of its 3.5 G service across the country, and the launching of its youth network ‘bdapps. com’, mobile telecom operator Robi is hopeful of availing the most innovative mobile applications to its subscribers.
“We are happy to inform you that our 3.5G network has already been rolled out to 64 districts of the country,” said a release.
Considering the need of making local content available for the growing data users in the country Robi has recently launched bdapps.com – a Youth Empowerment Platform – which will function as a platform to provide its 25 million subscribers with the most innovative mobile applications, the release added.
“The company intends to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth of Bangladesh by empowering the software developer community through opening up its’ network. Robi believes that bdapps will soon become a major source of local content; developed and created by Bangladeshis for Bangladeshis.”
