Mobile phone operator Robi has launched an SMS, WAP and IVR channel based Cricket campaign for its customers.
The campaign, started from September 27 and will continue till October 26, said a Robi press release here.
Everyday six winners (two from each of the group SMS, WAP and IVR) will be selected as daily winners. To be the daily winner, participants need to score 100 points for SMS or WAP channel and 300 points for IVR channel in a day. Each winner will be eligible to get a ticket of Bangladesh’s next One Day International cricket match to be held in the country. In total, 20 winners from the daily winners (on first arrival basis) will get the chance to meet and greet with the internationally acclaimed fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman.
There will be two grand winners of the campaign. Each of the grand winners will get to win iPhone7. The grand winners will need to attain the benchmark score of 50,000 points. Benchmark points will be calculated from SMS, WAP and IVR channel. But, users will have to collect minimum 20,000 point from SMS and WAP channel.
Mustafizur Rahman will hand over the grand prize to the winners.
Robi subscribers will be able to participate in SMS-based campaign by registering in Cricket Update service by sending START CRIC to 22020 or by dialing *22020*2*1#. Based on registration, user will get daily cricket update through SMS and a quiz question along with multiple answers.
Robi users need to type “A or B” to answer the question and send to 22020. For every quiz answer user will be charged Taka two (VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD) and Surcharge (SC) will be applied to this charge).
After Successful subscription, user will get two points and every right answer will carry two points and no points will be deducted for wrong answer. In order to take part in the campaign through WAP service, the user needs to log on to WAP site http://msports.mobi/ from their mobile using the mobile browser supported by Robi Internet connection. Once the user visits http:// msports.mobi/s/ he will need to click on “SUBSCRIBE” button to subscribe for the service. First five content downloads are offered at Taka two.
Additional contents (after five free download) will be charged at Taka five per download (VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD) and
Surcharge (SC) will be applied to this charge). After Successful subscription, user will get two points, get one point for every free download and get five points for every chargeable download.
Robi subscribers will be able to participate in the IVR based campaign by registering in the Sports IVR service. To join IVR based campaign, user can subscribe to daily pack at Taka two for 20 minutes or weekly pack at Taka seven for 100 minutes or fortnightly pack at Taka 14 for 200 minutes or monthly pack at Taka 25 for 300 minutes (VAT, Supplementary Duty (SD) and Surcharge (SC) will be applied to this charge). User will need to dial 22020 to subscribe to any pack and play the quiz. Participants need to press “one or two” to answer the quiz question. After Successful subscription, user will get two points & every right answer will carry one point and no point will be deducted for wrong answer. In addition, they can listen to live commentary completely FREE.
