Mobile phone operator Robi, has unveiled an innovative app that connects every citizen of Bangladesh with the historical moments that were instrumental in the lead up to the ultimate emergence of Bangladesh in 1971, said a press release.
Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor, inaugurated this innovative digital app along with Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, and Robi’s management team at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Monday.
Eminent artist Mustafa Monwar, Chairman, Sher-e-Bangla Foundation, A K Fayyazul Haque and Dean of Faculty of Arts, Dhaka University, Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain were also present on the occasion. Fayyaz also happens to be the grand-son of Sher-e-Bangla A K Fazlul Haque. Also present were fifteen female freedom fighters.
The invited guests gave them a standing ovation as a mark of respect for their contribution in the nation’s glorious war of independence.
