Robi Axiata Limited has become the latest partner to sign up with Standard Chartered’s ‘Supply Chain Finance’ program (SCF)- a financing program offered by the Bank for the dealers and suppliers of its corporate clients. This global program is part of the Bank’s ‘Banking the ecosystem’ initiative, which aims at deepening relationships with corporate clients, and their buyers and suppliers.
Mahtab Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Robi Axiata and Naser Ezaz Bijoy, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, recently signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies at the Robi Corporate Office at city’s Gulshan area recently, said a press release.
Roni Tohme, Chief Financial Officer, Md. Adil Hossain, Head of Enterprise Business and Mohammad Moin Uddin Riad, General Manager, Treasury of Robi Axiata Limited, Apurva Jain, Head of Transaction Banking of Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh and other senior officials of the two companies were present on the occasion.
