Two top officials from Robi and Airtel will meet the State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim on Sunday to discuss their merger plan, said the sources.
They said, the two mobile phone operators were trying to expedite the process towards merger and the issue would be discussed with state minister. Robi and Airtel sources said after the dropping of voluntary retirement scheme option from the merger plan, employees of both companies are worried over their jobs.
