Robi and Airtel subscribers can now transfer any amount between taka 5 and taka 100 for free of cost. Availing the offer, Robi customers can easily transfer mobile balance to Robi customers and the Airtel customers to other Airtel customers without having to pay any service charge. Considering the prolonged stay of the people in their homes due to the ongoing Corona pandemic situation, Robi and Airtel have come up with this customer-centric offer, said a press release.
The balance transfer can be done using My Robi and My Airtel App, USSD code and SMS. Subscribers have to open the My Robi or My Airtel app and select balance transfer option from the sidebar of the app. Then customers have to enter the recipient’s number to transfer the money and select the amount of money to transfer.
After confirming the amount, customer will need to complete the OTP verification process. Once the transaction is confirmed, both sender and receiver will receive a confirmation SMS.
Same procedure has to be followed for balance transfer using the USSD dial code and SMS. Robi subscribers have to dial *123*4#, while the Airtel subscribers have to dial *1212#.
When people are advised to stay home and maintain social distancing, balance transfer offers a very convenient solution to recharge their mobile phones without having to step out of their homes. The offer will continue till 16th May.
