As the merged entity, mobile phone operator Robi bagged 3.4 million subscribers in quarter 2 (Q2) this year taking the subscriber bases to 39.6 million.
The operator has also increased revenue growth for both voice and data services, but the newly-merged Robi registered a little margin of profit after network expansion and deposition to the national exchequer, according to the Q2 financial report of Robi released.
“Year 2017 started with the biggest challenge of integrating Robi-Airtel network and providing best customer service to the subscribers. By the time, this financial report is published, we would have completed the network integration of Robi and Airtel, reaching one of the biggest milestones in our journey to create the number one digital network of the country,”.
