For the first time, popular actress Robena Reza Jui acted in a famous writer’s story based drama. She acted in a play titled Nil Dongshon, which story is based on Syed Shamsul Haq-written a novel.
Hasan Rezaul gave direction of the play, which shooting has already done recently. Jui played the role of Maya in the play. Moni Haider has scripted the play from Syed Haq’s novel.
Jui informed that Mosharraf Karim, who played the role of Kazi Nazrul Islam, acted against her in the play. Story of the play is based on the Liberation War. Only prediction Pakistani Army caught Mosharraf Karim as they thought he was Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam during Liberation War. Story of the play continues with climaxes.
Jui said, “For the first time, I acted under Hasan Rezaul’s direction. He made the play cordially and sincerely. In DOP, Morshed worked nicely. I am really excited to work under such a famous writer Syed Shamsul Haq-written novel based story. I am very much optimistic about the play. This play will be telecasted in any TV channel on Victory Day.”
Jui also informed that she is now acting in three drama serials. These are: Shamim Zaman’s Chatam Ghor, Aronno Anwar’s Full HD and Shams Karim’s Hossain Bhaiyer Dokane Asha Manushjon. Therefore, Jui-starrer new serials are Rulin Rahman’s Sutoi Bandha Sukher Payra, Al Hajen’s Hoolsthool and Rawnak Hasan’s Bibaho Hobey. However, Jui-starrer a new serial titled Jongoley Gondogol, directed by Masud Hasan Ujjal, will go on air on Nagorik TV soon, she added.
