A robbery took place in Dhanaidah village of Baraigram upazila in Natore on Saturday night by taking children hostage. The incident took place at the house of Tuhin Hossain and Tannu Hossain, sons of late Abdul Quader of Dhanaidah village on Saturday night.
The robbers looted approximately 16 vori (tola) of gold ornaments and 15 vori of silver ornaments and 15 thousand taka in cash and escaped easily. According to the owner of the house, Tuhin Hossain and local sources, two brothers, Tuhin and Tannu, have a walled house in the same enclosure. By climbing the wall and they entered the inner side of the house, the robbers first broke the window grill of Tannu Hossain’s bedroom and entered there.
