Staff Reporter :A man was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants inside a running passenger bus in Berribadh area on the Abdullahpur-Ashulia route on Monday morning. The victim was identified as Abdul Momin Zuel, 30, son of Jaman Mollik, hailing from Sirajganj district. Police recovered the body near Jahan Filling Station in the area and sent it to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for an autopsy. Two other passengers were also injured during the deadly attack in the fateful morning. They were identified as Abdur Razzaq and Abdur Rashid, in habitant of the Airport area. The injured men had taken first aid from a local city hospital. Quoting the relatives of the injured men, Turag Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahbub-e-Khuda, said, “The robbers stabbed Momin and confirmed death while he was returning to Sirajganj from Abdullahpur by a Sirajganj-bound passenger bus where three robbers boarded in the transport as passengers around 4:30am. He got in the bus after saw-off his relatives at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA). They also threw the body from the bus with the help of the bus driver and helper and severely stabbed two other passengers for resisting the attack.” The killers also snatched five mobile sets and around Tk six thousand in cash from the three victims, the police official said.A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
