UNB, Kushtia : An alleged robber was killed in a reported gunfight with members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on the Kushtia-Meherpur highway in Moshan Bazar area of Mirpur upazila early Sunday. The deceased was identified as Mukul Munshi, 45, son of Yusuf Munshi, a resident of Paschim Bahirchar Barmile village of Bheramara upazila and a member of an inter-district robber gang. He was also accused in six robbery cases with different police stations of, including Bheramara police station.
