A robber was beaten to death by mass people while trying to commit dacoity at a businessman’s house at Sadarpur area of Ashulia on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was not identified till writing this report.
House owner Kanchan Ali said, on Wednesday early morning a gang of 10-12 robbers putting musk in face attacked in his house. That time robbers tried to break the lock of main gate to enter his house. At the time they inform it to others locals. When locals reached then robbers tried to flee by blasting two cocktail but excited people detained one of them and started to beat him because of pubic washing robber member dead on the spot.
Sheikh Badrul Alom Officer-in-charge of Ashulia police station said, police visited the spot and recovered the dead body. Dead body was sent for autopsy.
