UNB, Satkhira :
An alleged robber was injured in police firing during a robbery incident in Katia area of the district town early Thursday.
The injured robber was identified as Shahjahan Ali,48.
Police quoted the locals as saying that a gang of armed robbers entered the house of Abdur Razzak at about 2:30am breaking open the door in the area and kept the house members hostage at gunpoint.
Later, the gang chopped Abdur Razzak and his son Murad Hossain,18, as they tried to resist the gang members.
