UNB, Faridpur :
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested the suspected leader of a robber gang with firearms from Hamirodi village of Bhanga Upazila on Saturday.
The elite force identified the detainee as
Md Miran Mridha and described him as a listed criminal accused in several drug and robbery-related cases.
A shooter gun and two bullets were seized from him, said Major Talukdar Nazmus Sakib of RAB-8. “We raided the village on early Saturday acting on a tip-off and arrested him,” he added.
Mridha was handed over to the local police station.
