Road movement has been blocked for a long time due to collapse of two bridges on Jagdishpur-Ollipur -14 km LGED road in Madhabpur.
Road repair work is being carried out at a cost of Tk 6 . 25 cr under TIP-2 Project.
But the bridge does not have any initiative. During the construction of a drain on the side of the Shahjibazar rubber garden area, the villagers complained that they sent a complaint about low quality work .
CNG driver Sujon Mia said that due to accidents occurring on Dhaka Sylhet highway, the highway is not allowed to carry small vehicles including CNG auto-rickshaws.
Jagadishpur – Ollipur road, the only road for internal communication with Madhabpur and district headquarters.
On this road, direct road traffic has been blocked for this long road since the bridge near the Noapara Food Goddam and the bridge near the Shahpur Bazar and Raghunandan Forest Range Karalay collapsed. Tens of thousands of people every day are experiencing sufferings.
Noapara Food Gourmood Food Inspector Faizul Haque said that due to the holes and collapses in front of the food godown, the waste of time and government money due to transportation of about 3km of the goddess goods has been wasted. Madhabpur Upazila Engineer Tanjir Ullah Siddiqui said that the road repair work in the TIP-2 Project is a proper model named Merces Nilu Enterprises. The work was about to end in June.
The time has been extended to end in December. Drain cracks have seen senior authority from Dhaka. Engineer said that a bridge has been repaired for the project.
