UNB, Chittagong :
A labourer was killed as a truck hit him at Arabghat under Sadarghat thana in the city on Saturday.
The deceased was identifies as Bacchu Mia, 25, son of Rafizul Mia, a resident of Balur Char village of Lalmohon thana of Bhola district.
Pankaj Barua, assistant-sub-inspector of Chittagong Medical College Hospital police camp said, the speedy truck knocked down Bacchu, leaving him seriously injured around 11 am.
When injured Bacchu Mia was rushed to the hospital doctor declared him dead.
