Three people including a mother and her child were killed in a road accident on Barisal-Jhalakati Highway at Bhairabpasha area under Nalchity upazila of Jhalakati at about 9pm on Tuesday night.
The deceased were identified as Yasmin Begum(32) her son Yamin(2) and shahidul Islam(25).
Witnesses and police sources said, Shohel Hossain(35), his wife Yasmin Begum and their son Yamin was going to Razapur upazila under Jhalakati by a rented motor cycle. On the way it was run over by a Dhaka bound BRTC passenger bus from Mathbaria upazila under Perojpur district.
