The students of University of Science & Technology, Chittagong launch movement for not completing the registration works of the students in last five years.
The students of 3 batches of MBBS class beging agitated enforced road siege from 11 am to 12 noon on Wednesday on Zakir Hossain Road .
Later the agitated students confined the vice chancellor and pro-vice chancellor for some times. Students sources said management of the university declines their demand of holding meeting for registration purpose but the management refused them.
The agitated students said the permission of admitting only 120 students in 25th batch but the authority give admission to 400 students in MBBS violating the rules of the UGC . As such the students beyond 120 will be deprieved of certificates of MBBS despite passing exams. A sources of Bangladesh Medical Association,Chittagong said the students in connection hold talks with them and vows to the demands of the students.
