Staff Reporter :A female garment worker was allegedly beaten to death by a gang of unidentified miscreants near Bhogra Bazaar area in Gazipur Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.The deceased was identified as Moni Rani Das, 22, a worker of JK Cotton Mills. She was the daughter of Rajesh Chandra Das from Bhola district.Quoting the deceased’s relatives, Bhogra Police Outpost In-charge Nazmul Haque said that some miscreants clobbered Moni with a stick on her head and chest around 5:00am when she was going to her workplace at JK Cotton Mill, leaving her dead.Police recovered the body along with the identity card of the victim following information, the policeman said. Moni took a job in garment factory at Bhogra Bazar after she got divorced. She has a two-year-old son, who lives with his grad-mother in Bhola, he said.
