Raymond Apparels Ltd, a buying house and Triton, an advertising agency, are going to organize programme “Sramik Ullash” from 1st May 2015 in the country for garment workers to train them on how to improve their lifestyle with the limited income.
This was disclosed at a press conference organized recently by the two organizations and were present Raiment Group Chairman Hafizul Haque Royal, Managing Director Md Moinuddin Ali, Event Coordinator Mohiuddin Chowdhury, and media personalities.
The programme, for the first time in Bangladesh, is going to be held at Tongi Pilot School and College premises on May 1, 2015. Garment workers of nearby areas will attend the programme.
Representatives from Bangladesh Garments Buying House Association and diplomats from five countries will attend the programme. Similar programme would in phases be held in the country.
The workers would be able to plan future spending, to identify the fields where they can save money and make their future well-protected through making savings.
Secondly, guidelines would be given on how to ensure good lives in line through proper time management and the surroundings. Besides, their food habit would be improved through trainings. Idea should be given on assessing timetable for leisure, recreation, which ultimately would enhance their working capacity. Basically, the programme has been organized keeping these two things in mind, informed the organiser.
