Mentioning that the readymade garment industry will play an important role in the implementation of the vision 2021 announced by the Prime Minister, Chattogram Bond Commissioner AKM Mahbubur Rahman said.
He said “Everyone has to work together to achieve the goal.” He made the remarks while paying a visit to BKMEA bond office on Wednesday last .
BKMEA director was present at the time Md. Hasan, Akbar Ali Chowdhury, Ahmed Nur Faisal, former director of BKMEA. Fazlul Quader, BKMEA member Sirajul Islam Hawlader were present .
Among others, Additional Commissioner Mahfuzul Haque Bhuiyan, BKMEA Senior Joint Secretary. Altaf Uddin, Assistant Secretary Himel Badua and others were present. The BKMEA leaders will consult with the users on the management of the Bond Commissionerate and try to resolve the existing problems related to import and export of the garments sector. The newly appointed commissioner sought everyone’s cooperation in managing the bonds.
Samuel Ahmed Lenin, son of Syed Ahmed, the founding president of Baphul Upazila BNB, distributed blankets among 250 destitute families on behalf of BNP president Begum Khalexa Zia at Baphul in Patuakhali yesterday. Humayun Kabir, Shahjahan Mia, Inush Mia, Sarwar Hossain Titu, Jalilur Rahman, Rakhal Das and others were present.
