Staff Reporter :A fire broke out at a button factory at Najimnagar in Savar on the outskirts of capital on Wednesday morning, leaving five workers injured in fire.The blaze originated in the factory of ‘Deco Accessories Ltd’ at about 7:30 am, Fire Service sources said.On information, six fire fighting units from Savar, EPZ, Mohammadpur fire stations and the fire service headquarters rushed to the spot and put out the fire after an hour.Five workers of the factory received burn injuries during their attempt to fight the fire.Of the injured, one was admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital while four others were given primary therapy.Neither the reason behind the fire could be ascertained nor the loss caused by it estimated immediately.
