A fire broke out at an apparel factory in Ashulia, on the outskirts of Dhaka, early Saturday. The incident took place at the Silver Apparels Ltd in Zirabo area.
On information, six firefighting units went to the spot and doused the blaze.
Jahangir Alam, senior station officer at the Dhaka Export Processing Zone (DEPZ) Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out around 5 am and doused around 7:40.
The reason of the fire and the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
