President of city Awami League and former Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury said Railway authority should increase the transportation capacity of passengers and overall development of rail communications including introduction of double track line from Chittagong to Dhaka within the short possible time. He also said present Awami League govt has undertaken a number of development projects for overall development of railway and the highest allocation proposed in the budget. City AL President disclosed it while addressing the rally of Railway Sramik league arranged at CRB square on Tuesday evening as chief guest.
General Secretary of City AL AZM Nasiruddin graced the occasion as special guest. Railway sramik league leader Arun Chandra presided over it. Among others AL leaders Safar Ali, Sirajullah, Abdul Ahad, Baktiaruddin Khan, Lokman Hossain spoke on the occasion.
