The officials , employees and trade union leaders of Bangladesh Railwlay, East Zone (popularly known as CRB) formed huge human chain in fornt of CRB (central railway building) under Kotwali thana in city to protest the continuous violence , anarchy and vandalism by the hartal picketers across the country.
The human chain organised under the banner of Railway Officers and Employees and Bangladesh Mukhtijudda Sangsad, Railway Eastern Command Unit . About 3 th ousand officers and employees including the higher officials participated the human chain. The speakers in the human chain said they will hold such protest programs to end the ongoing violence until the normal situation prevails.
They also disclosed that railway authority of east zone is the worst sufferers of the v iolance and huge railway properties lost during the last one month. The human also told that petrol bomb hurls into the bogeys and snapped the fish plates leaving the bogies and engine derailed cause human sufferings with critical injury. Moreover, the train schedule disrupted during the last one month, the said. Among others, General Manager of East Zone Mozzamel Hoque, Chief Commercial Manager Belaluddin, Chief Traffic Manager Miah Jahan, Chief Mechanical Engineer Haroonur Rashid, Chief Electrical Engineer Md. Nizamuddin and Asstt. General Manager Syed Faruk Ahmed and other senior officials, CBA leader were also present in it .
