River ports have been asked to hoist cautionary signal number one as rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary west or north-westerly gusty or squally wind speed of 45-60 kph is likely to occur over different parts of the country.
The regions are Rangpur, Dinajpur, Pabna, Bogra, Rajshahi, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Tangail, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet, a Met Office weather bulletin said on Monday.
