In association with rain or thundershowers temporary west or north-westerly squalls with a speed of 60-80 kph is likely to occur over different parts of the country.
The regions are Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Sylhet.
The river ports in the regions have been asked to hoist riverine warning signal No. two (r) two, a Met office weather bulletin said on Saturday.
