Indian actress Rituparna Sengupta will be seen in a Bangladeshi film, Jam. She reached Dhaka recently in order to begin shooting of the film. She will be busy shooting till September 26. Rituparna Sengupta acted in many Bangladeshi films over the last several years. She is a popular name in both Bangla, and Hindi cinema simultaneously. She has been part of a multitude of hit Bangla films, including Ekti Cinemar Golpo, directed by actor Alamgir.
In Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul’s Jam, Rituparna will be seen as an attorney. The film will be produced under the banner of Manna’s production house, Kritanjali Kothachitra. Actor Purnima has also joined the cast of the film.
Jam is inspired by the works of Bangladeshi film journalist Ahmed Zaman Choudhury. The script of the film was penned by Pantha Shahriar.
