Rituparna arrives Dhaka tomorrow for movie Jam

There was a family relationship between Kolkata’s popular film actress Rituparna Sengupta and Bangladeshi popular late hero Manna and his wife Shelly Manna. As a result, when Rituparna came to Bangladesh she always met Shelly Manna at her residence. Manna’s production house Kritanjali Chalachchitra is going to produce a new movie titled Jam from October. On July 23, muharrat of the movie is scheduled to be held at Dhaka Club at 11:30am. To attend the mahurrat of the movie Rituparna will come to Dhaka on July 22. She will return to Kolkata on July 24.
While confirming the matter Rituparna told this correspondent over mobile phone, “I had a family relationship with Manna Bhai. While working with him I had built up that relationship. Now Manna Bhai is not alive but I have continued communication with Shelly Bhabi. She is a nice person. I have talked with her regarding the new movie Jam, which is to be produced under the banner of Manna Bhai’s production house. I have huge possibility to work in this movie. Right now I will attend its muharrat later I will take the final decision in this regard.”
Noim Imtiaz Neyamul will make the movie Jam. Its main concept was given by late Ahmed Zaman Chowdhury. Its story was jointly prepared by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul and Shelly Manna. Pantho Shahriar has written its script and dialogue.
While talking about making the movie director Noim Imtiaz Neyamul said, “I am expecting to start shooting of the movie from October. Rituparna will be seen to play in role of a lawyer in the movie but she will be not lead heroine. But her role will be obviously significant in the movie. We believe our work with her will become successful.”
In last Pahela Baishakh, Rituparna acted and Alangir directed movie Ekti Cinema’r Golpo was released in Bangladesh. During promotional activities of that movie Rituparna stayed in Dhaka for some days at a time.
With Manna Rituparna acted movies like Jummon Kosai, Ronagon, Killer, etc got popularity among the viewers.
