Following her mother late film actress Tina Khan’s steps Rimu Roja Khandaker has engaged herself with acting. Though Rimu does not acting in big screen but she wants to remain busy with acting. She is acting in good story based challenging roles. Last Eid her acted several works got popularity among the viewers. When she gets inspiration from the viewers her interest in acting obviously increases.
Today is Rimu’s birthday. Today she will pass the day to take part in shooing of Eid-ul-Azha’s drama titled Kono Ek Bikale Holud Saree which will directed by Sagor Jahan. She will play in an important role in this play.
While talking in this regard Rimu told this correspondent, “Now acting is my profession. To keep respect and love to my mother, I have attached myself with acting. As acting is my profession so there is no birthday or special day to me. I want to pass my rest of life with acting. That can be happened either on my birthday or any other day. I am an actor from my heart and soul. So, I want to pass my rest life to continue acting.”
Now Rimu has been passing busy days with acting in several drama serials like Shamim Zaman’s Chatam Ghor, Ahsanul Hasan’s Tumi Achho Tai, Shahin Sarkar’s Dulabhai Jindabad, Akash-Ratan’s Akkelganj Private Ltd, and Golam Muktadir’s Baba Thake Basai-Season -2.
Rimu-starred movie Mayaboti is waiting to release soon. She played in role of a prostitute named Sundori in the movie. Therefore, she also acted in Sunny Sarwar and Faisal Ahmed’s movie Mission Extreme. Her acted first movie was Gurubhai. Later she acted in movies Britter Baire, Bhalobashlei Ghor Bandha Jaina, King Khan, Jibon Dhuli and Love Express.
