As a model, promising TV actress Rimi Karim has come into limelight at the end of this year by virtue of her charismatic presence on the screen. She basically came into limelight to perform as a model in a frozen food of a multinational company under Sabrina Irin’s direction. This TVC is being telecasted in different satellite chanels and Youtube channels now. Rather than performance story got priority in the TVC.
While sharing her feeling about getting response from that TVC Rimi told this correspondent, “I never thought I would huge response to perform in this TVC. I am really grateful Sabrina Apu to give me the scope.”
Hailed from Munsefpara of Brahmanbaria Rimi Karim started her acting career through Anjan Aich’s serial Rupkothar Maa in 2014. In her first work, she got the opportunity to act with Sadia Islam Mou. While working together Rimi got support from Mou which she mentioned. Based on Sharatchandra’s novel Shesher Porichoy Rimi’s acting in role of a hardcore widow attracted the viewers’ attention. Later her acting was also appreciated in Rabindranath Tagore’s story based play Minu in title role. Then she started continue acting and she concentrated herself to establish in media. So, she has been working selectively.
While talking in this regard Rimi Karim said, “During childhood I had planned to be introduced myself as an actress as everybody recognizes me. I know it is difficult for the newcomers to establish in media but I want to take it as challenge. Everybody pray for me.”
Now Rimi is engaged with shooting of Abul Hayat’s Tin Pagoler Holo Mela, Syed Shakil’s serial Sonar Shekol.
