Both the National Film Award winner actress Jakia Bari Mamo and promising TV actress Rimi Karim are hailed from Brahmanbaria.
Mamo came from that district’s Moddhyopara area while Rimi came from Munsef Para area. While working in media they introduced with each other. Rimi wants to work with Mamo as they are working in media.
Once Rimi’s dream came into true, she got the opportunity to work with Mamo in Rabindranath Tagore’s special play titled Ek Ratri in 2016. Anjan Aich made the play.
Later, Rimi again worked with Mamo in several numbers of plays including same director’s Deyal-er Oparey Achhey Akash.
Now she is acting with Mamo in Habib Shakil’s a drama serial titled Kancher Putul.
Rimi always enjoys working with Mamo. She also seems Mamo as her guardian in media. Mamo also loves Rimi. Not for rationality Mamo always loves her junior artistes.
While talking about Rimi Mamo told this correspondent, “As a newcomer, Rimi has intention to do acting. She wants to learning. She has dedication, devotion and seriousness about acting. She wants to work cordially. I love her lot. Always wish her success.”
Rimi is impressed with Mamo. She shared her feelings by this way, “From the very beginning Mamo Apu loved me, also honoured me. I always seem her as my guardian. I have learned many things from her including how to take make-up properly, how to change costume quickly during shooting break, how to read script, how to include in depth of a character among others. When I work with her, all time I learn something. I love her so much.”
