Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Eight years ago popular TV actress Richi Solaiman started to produce dramas and telefilms under her own production house, Nilanjona. Under the direction of Masud Hasan Ujjal Nilanjona started its journey by a play titled Kalo Borof Jomat Ondhokar. Mahfuz Ahmed, Richi Solaiman and Tania Hossain performed together in that play. Later several single episode plays and drama serials were made under the banner of this production house. This year under the banner of Nilanjona a new serial titled Jokhon Kokhono is going to be made. Actor Sohan Khan has written story of the serial, while Rahmatullah Tuhin will give direction of it. While talking about Rahmatullah Tuhin Richi Solaiman told this correspondent, “Tuhin Bhai is a honest person. Besides this identity, he is a talented director. For this reason, after thinking several times, I have decided to give him the reasonability to give direction of the serial under my production house.”While asked her why she is most of the time absent from her own production house’s drama or serial Richi replied, “In fact, I can’t take the pressure of acting and production simultaneously. Because when I work under any other production I can concentrate only on acting. But in case of production, it becomes really difficult for me to acting and producing simultaneously. For this reason, I am irregular in acting while producing any serial or drama.”“Now we are selecting actors for the new serial. Its shooting is scheduled to begin within this month,” Richi Solaiman said.Meanwhile, Richi has already finished shooting of two single episode plays – Nilkontho Pakhir Palok, directed by Rawnak Hasan, and Uttam-er Pocketey Suchitra, directed by Raihan Khan. Rawnak Hasan and Apurbo worked against her respectively in these plays, Richi informed.Richi’s acted and Rulin Rahman’s directed a serial titled Mayar Khela is being telecasted on RTV now. She also mentioned that within very short her acted two drama serials – Milar Baranda, directed by Sagor Jahan, and Palta Hawa, directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul, will go on air. Therefore, Richi has recently performed as a model in a TV commercial of Bata under Hasan Morshed’s direction.
