Entertainment Report :On the occasion of coming Victory Day National Film Award winning actor and director Shahiduzzaman Selim, popular actress Richi Solaiman and actor Intekhab Dinar have performed together for the first time in a special which story is based on the liberation war.With the script written by Iraj Ahmed and under the direction of Montasir Bipon they have worked together in a play titled Deadline 1971.In the play, Shahiduzzaman Selim acted in role of an editor of a national daily newspaper, Mahmud Ali, while Richi acted in role of his wife and Intekhab Dinar also acted in role of a Pakistani Army official. Shooting of the play was wrapped up in the city’s Uttara area on Wednesday. While sharing his feeling about his acting in the play Selim told this correspondent, “Richi has worked either under my direction and or against me in several plays. She is a reliable actress. I always feel comfortable to work against her. On the other hand, after our generation Intekhab Dinar is one of promising actors. I like him very much not only an actor but also as a person. I am wishing success for both of them. We have worked very sincerely while acting in the play which story was based on the liberation war.”Richi shared her feelings by this way, “Selim Bhai is a top class actor and also a reputed director. I have leant many things about acting to work under his direction. On the other hand, Dinar is my one of close friends. I always introduce him as a good actor.”“I am longevity to work with Selim Bhai. I have also learnt many things about acting while working with him. In fact, I have updated myself to work with Selim Bhai. It is no doubt that Richi is a talented actress. If she couldn’t perform well she wouldn’t continue in the acting arena for long time,” Dinar said.The play Deadline 1971 will be telecast on Boishakhi TV at 8:50pm on Victory Day, December 16, said its director Bipon.
