The same mother who scolds the housemaid for not throwing the garbage in the trash can throws the Banana peel through the car window. The same father, who rebukes the daughter for not disposing waste paper properly, pushes the driver to use the wrong lane of path. Such duality confuses the little daughter of the couple and leads her to the question, ‘The house is ours, what about the country?’
The TV programme titled ‘Dettol-Channel i Porichchonno Bangladesh’ powered by Harpic will start from December 30 at 8:00pm on Channel i. Popular film actor Riaz will host the programme. In the first episode, Chief Waste Management Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation Commodore Razzak, an affected citizen of Dhaka city, Bibordhon Roy Emon, Founder of ‘Amrai Brahminbaria’ an organisation working for hygiene and cleanliness from their own accord will participate in the discussion of the program. Along with the drama the episode will also feature people and groups who are carrying the cleanliness of the country forward.
As a part of the ‘Dettol-Channel i Porichchonno Bangladesh Powered by Harpic’ campaign, the TV programme will have ten episodes and will start airing from 30th December 2017. The coming episodes will feature cleanliness for important national monuments, hygiene for mother and child and health tips, cleanliness in restaurants, awareness among garments workers etc. The programmes will also feature discussions with notable personalities.
