Sheikh Arif Bulbon :Twelve years ago, popular actor Riaz performed with Sumaiya Shimu in a TV commercial for the first time. They first worked together in a TVC of Uro Orange. The TVC became popular during that time. They first worked together in SA Haque Alik directed a TV play titled Kuriye Pawa Sukh. Later they worked together in different times as a pair under reputed directors’ direction including Ferdous Hasan Rana. After a break of long time, they again worked together in two Eid plays. One’s shooting was wrapped up on Thursday. Its title is Irina. Tamzid Rahman wrote story of the play directed by Parvez Amin. Story of the play is based on two persons pass days lonely. At one stage, they meet with each other. One is Irina and another person is Amzad. This play will be aired in any satellite channel on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr. While talking about his experiences to work with Sumaiya Shimu again Riaz told this correspondent, “Shimu is an educated actress. She is very polite. She is a good actress too. There is nobody who likes to work such a nice actress. I have liked the story of play Irina.”Sumaiya Shimu shared her feelings by this way, “When I first worked with Riaz Bhai I was a newcomer in media. It was my first experience to work with any superstar during that time. I was feared in this regard. But he was so cooperative that I could perform well. He is a good person.” Meanwhile, Riaz and Shimu recently finished shooting of Kobori directed an Eid play titled Valo Theko. Akash Ranjan wrote story of this play. It will be aired on Banglavision in Eid-ul-Fitr, Riaz said.
