UNB, Barguna :
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday arrested an engineer of Roads and Highways Department(RDH) of Barguna from his office reportedly while taking Tk 14.50 lakh as bribe.
Tipped off, an ACC team, led by Patuakhali Coordinated District Office Jahangir Alam, conducted a drive at the office of Shamsul Shahriar, deputy divisional engineer of Barguna Roads and Highways Department, and arrested him along with the bribe money around 3:30 pm.
Executive magistrate Yeanur Rahman was present during the drive.
